Meet Dr. Massey
Dr. Massey brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, public health leadership, and community service to each patient interaction. He’s board-certified in family medicine as well as general preventive medicine and public health.
Since 2022, Dr. Massey has been serving the New Braunfels community through primary care. Throughout his career, he has held key roles in healthcare leadership and public health response. He has worked alongside the Indian Health Service to support communities heavily impacted by COVID-19, served as a physician leader during the Afghan refugee medical response, and provided critical pandemic leadership as a regional medical director for the Texas Department of State Health Services. Prior to that, he served as a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health and worked as a non-communicable disease specialist at Yap State Hospital in Micronesia. Earlier in his career, he spent ten years in the United States Air Force, including a deployment focused on rural health system development in Afghanistan.
His broad experience gives him a deep understanding of both individual and community health needs—and a passion for providing comprehensive care that empowers his patients.
